Sheltered Employment Company Profits From New Solution Immediately

BSW Bedrijven Breda has been working with Isah’s ERP solution since January 1st of this year. Isah is the market leader in the field of ERP software for customer-driven companies. Using the integrated ERP solution has immediately resulted in a number of improvements and offers BSW Bedrijven Breda practical and user-friendly support for their production, logistic, financial, service and maintenance processes.

“I don’t feel like there was a real ‘go-live’ moment,” says Rob Mulders, Information and Quality Manager at BSW Bedrijven Breda. “We just worked our way to a live environment during implementation and in the new year, we simply continued working. Isah-7 was operational immediately, without any problems. We are happy to be profiting from our new ERP application already.”

BSW Bedrijven Breda is part of the municipality of Breda. The company accomodates all activities relating to subsidized employment. After an extensive selection process, BSW Bedrijven Breda decided to switch to Isah-7 in March 2008. A joint and professional approach ensured a successful ERP implementation. BSW Bedrijven Breda and Isah formed a work group and a management group, both consisting of employees from the various BSW business units and departments as well as Isah employees. All BSW Bedrijven Breda’s employees were trained during implementation, during which the organization was already working towards going live, enabling all employees to switch to Isah-7 easily on January 1st, 2009.

BSW Bedrijven Breda has only been using Isah-7 for a couple of weeks, but results were visible right away. From January 1st on, paper administration has decreased considerably. All data are now stored in the ERP solution directly, eliminating the need to retype all data from paper into the system. Furthermore, the service and maintenance administration has been improved upon. All service data are registered in Isah-7, so all of BSW Bedrijven Breda has insight into service activities. Thanks to Isah-7, the service organization has been optimized and improvements have been made in the field of logistics as well, such as improved stock management and traceability.
