ERP Specialist Invests In The Future Of Students
Isah, supplier of ERP software for customer-driven businesses, and Avans University Breda have been working together for almost twenty years. This year their cooperation continues with an intensive college program for second-year students of Information and Communication Technology and Industrial Engineering Management. Important aspects are the analysis of company processes and implementing and managing the ERP solution Isah-7.
“Isah-7 is very user-friendly, so it is easy for students to start working with the software immediately”, says Christophe Otto, University teacher at Avans University. “Isah-7 also has extensive functionality, enabling us to offer our students an in-depth and attractive study program.”
Every year, guest speakers from Isah provide lectures about the use and role of ERP in customer-driven businesses. In 2002 the Academy for ICT and Media (AIM), part of Avans University, developed a college program in close cooperation with Isah. The aim of the course is for students to get acquainted with all aspects of an ERP implementation: from selection and business analysis up to and including implementation, use and application management. Isah is closely involved with the program this year as well; Isah will provide students with support by means of consulting hours and knowledge sessions.
“Young people with ERP experience are in great demand”, Christophe Otto continues. “With Isah we make sure our students have the right knowledge, giving them a unique position in the labor market after their studies.”
“At Isah, we think it is important to invest in the knowledge of students”, says Paul van Abeelen, managing director at Isah b.v. “Avans University Breda offers their students practical lessons in which they not only address the software, but also the culture and organization of a company. This way, students get to know all aspects of an ERP implementation, and they will certainly profit from that in their business careers later.”
