New ERP Solution Optimizes Company Processes

IHC Holland Parts & Services BV (IHC P&S), leading manufacturer of dredging equipment, has selected the ERP solution Isah-7. With Isah-7, IHC P&S offices all over the world will have a complete and integrated system at their disposal. The ERP application will also enable the organization to optimize all company processes: from financial and logistic processes up to and including project management and service.

In 2005 IHC P&S began an extensive selection period. They had defined various selection criteria, the most important being that the ERP application shouldn’t be too complex, it had to be suitable for multicompany work and suited to various logistic principles, it had to be an integrated solution and IHC P&S wanted to be able to start an extensive partnership with the software supplier. In the end, IHC P&S selected Isah, because Isah scored best on all these points.

“Other business units have been using Isah-7 successfully since 2002. Because of their positive experience we have had our eye on Isah for a couple of years,” says John Boer, controller at IHC Holland Parts & Services BV. “Isah-7 has become a powerful ERP application with the right functionality for large organizations. IHC P&S specifically chose Isah-7 because it is an integrated solution that supports all company processes: from engineering, production and project management to assembly and service. The organization wants to have unambiguous information at its disposal all over the world and Isah-7 makes this possible. IHC P&S also wants to further professionalize its service activities and with Isah-Service, these can be registered and managed easily. With document management, documents can be consulted throughout the ERP system and designs are easy to administrate.
