Organization Aims To Optimize Business Processes With Isah-7
MHB has selected the ERP solution Isah-7. MHB develops and produces steel facades, frames and doors. The company is mainly involved in large building projects – new housing developments and renovation – in all of the Netherlands. For MHB, a thorough work preparation is essential. The new ERP solution supports MHB in the field of parametric work preparation. Isah-7 also offers extensive functionality with which they can further optimize their business processes.
“For a long time, we thought we wouldn’t be able to find a software supplier that understands our business,” says Mark Mathijssen, managing director at MHB BV. “Isah has proven that they can fully realize our wishes in the field of parametric work preparation. In addition, Isah-7 has much more to offer than our last ERP solution, which means we now have a complete insight into our business processes at any given moment.”
At the end of 2006, MHB decided to orientate themselves on a new ERP solution, because the application they were using had been customized to a large extent. Work preparation, among other things, had been fully automated with parametric work preparation. MHB wanted to replace their customized solution, but they did not want to make concessions on the quick and efficient way of working that people had gotten used to.
During the selection process, the company looked at a number of ERP applications in detail, but no supplier could offer the functionality MHB was looking for. At the start of 2007, MHB contacted Isah and an intensive project was started. In a so-called Proof Of Concept, Isah showed the organization that they were able to realize the functionality MHB were looking for. MHB chose Isah because they were the only supplier able to show that they understand MHB’s business processes and their way of working.
The implementation of Isah-7 at MHB has already started. The functionality that was developed during the Proof Of Concept will be implemented right away. Seventy people will be working with the new ERP solution. They plan to go ‘live’ on April 1, 2009.
