On June 6 and June 7 Isah was present at the KOG Systems 2007, which took place in Arnhem, the Netherlands. On June 6 one of our customers, High Voltage Engineering (HVE), held a presentation about the advantages of using 3D CAD and the integration of 3D CAD into the ERP system.

3D CAD integration with Isah-7 at High Voltage Engineering HVE is a major supplier of customer-specific particle accelerators for science and industry. HVE develops and manufactures high-end parts and equipment. They use Isah-7 and Isah-PDM, the product line that completey integrates engineering into the logistic process. Because the complexity of their machine designs was growing, HVE needed a more efficient design fault inspection, an engineering simulation, more clarity for production, assemblage and external operations and 3D instructions for customers. For these reasons, they changed from 2D to 3D CAD. Integrating their 3D application into Isah-7 was a logical step, because their 2D application had also been integrated. Thanks to the integration, they prevent duplicate work, redundant information and errors being made while copying data from one application to the other. They are far more efficient.

Focus of this year´s KOG Systems was PDM, ERP, product configurators and management information systems. Our ERP solution Isah-7 supports all these facets of company processes.
