• follow the A10 to Den Haag/Utrecht
• at the junction Sloten-Noord (107), follow the signs for Schiphol/Amstelveen/Den Haag (A4)
• at the junction Nieuw-Vennep (4), follow the signs for Nieuw-Vennep/Hillegom/Lisse/Alphen aan den Rijn/Leimuiden (N207)
• at the junction Burgerveen, follow the the signs for Leimuiden/Alphen aan den Rijn
• at the first traffic lights, go right (Eisenhowerlaan)
• follow the Eisenhowerlaan up to the roundabout, then cross the river Oude Rijn via the Albert Schweitzer bridge
• at the roundabout, go right (Laan der Continenten)
• at the next roundabout, take the second exit (over the railway)
• at the next roundabout, take the second exit
• take the first road left (Zuidpoolsingel).

By car from Utrecht:

• follow the A12 to Rotterdam/Den Haag
• at the junction Bodegraven (12a), follow the signs for Alphen aan den Rijn
• at the traffic lights, go straight ahead and cross the lift bridge, direction Centrum/Hoge Zijde
• at the traffic lights, go left, direction Centrum (Conradstraat)
• pass the station; go straight ahead until you reach a roundabout
• at the roundabout, go left, direction Laan der Continenten
• at the next roundabout, take the second exit (across the railway line)
• at the next roundabout, take the second exit
• take the first road left (Zuidpoolsingel).

By car from Rotterdam:

• follow the A20 to Gouda/Utrecht
• follow the A12 to Gouda/Utrecht
• follow the signs for Alphen aan den Rijn
• at the traffic lights, go right (before the railway and lift bridge)
• after you pass the aquaduct, go right at the traffic lights (direction Kerk en Zanen, Schans II)
• at the roundabout, go right (direction Kerk en Zanen)
• at the next roundabout, go left and keep following this road (the railway is on your right)
• the road will make a left turn
• after the turn to the left (Noorderkeerkring), go right (Australiëlaan)
• at the roundabout, go straight ahead (Laan der Continenten)
• take the first road on your right (Zuidpoolsingel).

By car from Den Haag:

• follow the A4 to Amsterdam
• take exit Zoeterwoude-Rijndijk/Alphen aan den Rijn (N11)
• at the traffic lights, go right (N11)
• before you reach the Gouwe Aquaduct, go left at the traffic lights (direction Kerk en Zanen/Schans II)
• at the roundabout, go right (direction Kerk en Zanen)
• at the next roundabout, go left and keep following this road (the railway is on your right)
• the road will make a left turn
• after the turn to the left (Noorderkeerkring), go right (Australiëlaan)
• at the roundabout, go straight ahead (Laan der Continenten)
• take the first road on your right (Zuidpoolsingel).

By public transport:

The Zuidpoolsingel is situated at the Alphen aan den Rijn train station. From the station, take the level crossing for pedestrians and cyclists. The 'Rondeel' building is on your right hand side.
