Engineering

Integration is a recurring element within the engineering process. The CAD and PDM applications form an integrated part of our total business process solution. One of the things you will benefit from is, interactive data exchange between the CAD and PDM applications and the ERP application’s functions.

For example, a purchaser can go ahead and buy a certain part while engineering is still in progress. Your engineer will also be able to see that changes to a certain part can no longer be made because the article has already been purchased or produced. This allows for dynamic cooperation, making your business process even more effective and efficient.

This is how it works
One of the unique characteristics of Isah’s engineering solution is the engineering parts list. This list clearly links ‘as engineered’ and ‘as built’ and gives your engineer complete insight into all aspects of his/her design.

In the production phase, the design is broken down into various steps. Each part on the list is assigned to a specific phase. This part will then automatically appear on the production or purchasing list for that specific phase. If the parts used during production are changed, the ‘as built’ to ‘as engineered’ option can be used. This way you always have up-to-date and complete information with regard to the product’s history.
